Art by: David Heavenridge & Robert Ludwig

This exhibit features artwork by two local artists, David Heavenridge and Robert Ludwig. This exhibit will be on display until September 3rd.

David Heavenridge (1917-2009) was an accomplished watercolor artist and founder of Dacra Glass. His work was recognized in the Hoosier Artist show, and gifts from Dacra Glass were sold all over the nation and the globe. His work is colorful and playful, and he often signed as “Papa Dave.”

Robert Ludwig (1918 – 2014) Robert worked as an illustrator for Walt Disney Studios in California. He was an artist who worked in several mediums including painting, wood carving and leather work. He was a member of a local art association, frequently participated in art exhibits and won several awards.

The work of these two artists can be seen at the Blackford County Arts Center during its regular hours. The public is invited! 

The Blackford County Arts center is located at 107 West Washington Street in Hartford City, Indiana. Regular center hours are: Monday through Thursday 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesdays 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
