The Montpelier Civic Center will be hosting a Chili Cook Off on Saturday, November 9 located at 339 S. Main St., Montpelier. Cooking with begin at 3:00 p.m., judging at 5:00 p.m. and winners will be announced at 7:00 p.m. The fee to enter into the chili contest is $20 and cash prizes will be given to the 1st and 2nd place winners. As well as chili tasting for $5.00, there will also be live entertainment. This event is for those 21 and older as alcohol will be available.
