A large cheering crowd came out to support the contestants of the Jr. Miss Queen Contest at the Montpelier Jamboree on their opening night, Thursday.

    Sixty-six girls competed for titles within the three categories, Little Miss, Princess and Jr. Queen. The contestants were judged earlier in the week at the Montpelier Civic Center.

    Crowned 2019 Little Miss was Paisley Hayward. The Little Miss court included first runner-up Kaeban Messer Smith, second runner-up Madelyn Ort, third runner-up Madelyn Rester and fourth runner-up Hunter Cosner.

    Jaiden Fields was crowned 2019 Princess. The Princess court included Kailyn Fields who was named first runner-up, Violet McClain as second runner-up, Karliegh McCammon as third runner-up and Kaylee Davis as fourth runner-up.

    Crowned 2019 Jr. Queen was Emily Ellison. The Jr. Queen court included first runner-up Hana McClain, second runner-up Kalli Mealy, third runner-up Serenity Jackson and fourth runner-up Audrey Sweeden.
