Blackford County Schools is advising parents of incoming sixth graders for the 2018-2019 school year, that students are now required by state law to have additional vaccinations to attend school.
According to BCS Corp. Nurse Karen Langdon, vaccinations needed include one dose of Meningococcal, a Tetanus and Pertussis booster, and new for 2018/2019, two doses of Hepatitis A.
These immunizations must be completed by the first day of school, Aug. 8.
