A cancer benefit will be held 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 23 at The Villages at Van Cleve, 503 E. Van Cleve St., in Hartford City, to help raise funds for three persons suffering from cancer.
Funds will be raised to help two residents of the apartment complex, Janet Teegarden and Susan Reece.
Funds will also be used to help the family of Isaiah Rittichier, a seven year old Hartford City boy suffering from leukemia. He is the son of Dawn and Josh Rittichier. Josh works in maintenance at The Villages apartments.
All funds received from the event will go to the three cancer victims.
Rummage sale and vendor booths will open at 8 a.m., with all other events beginning at 10 a.m. Activities include live entertainment, a silent Auction, 50/50 raffle, cake walk, a cookie decorating contest, face painting, corn hole, food truck with tenderloins, snow cones and much, much more.
