The Junior High boys tipped off their season last night as they hosted McCulloch. 

The 7th graders took an early lead that they would hold onto for the majority of the game, but it wasn’t enough. McCulloch took a lead late in the fourth quarter and managed to take the win 40-35. The Bruins (0-1) were led by Amarian Leggett with 21 points followed by Jacob Ellison with 9, Hunter Slusher with 3 and Elijah Morgan with 2.

The 8th graders got off to a slower start, but caught fire and set the tone in the second quarter to take a 23-8 lead into halftime. They were able to hold on throughout the game thanks to a balanced offense to win 40-36. Masson Kitterman led the Bruins (1-0) with 11 points, Reggie Duren added 7. Tristyn Cameron and Mason McFeely each scored 6. Jacob Dillon and Trenton Norton each added 5.
