The Indiana Military Preservation Association and the Museum of the Soldier will be hosting the 2021 Military Vehicle Show and swap meet on September 17th and 18th at the Jay County Fairgrounds in Portland, Indiana.

Admission to the Vehicle Show is free this year thanks to special sponsorships from area veterans’ organizations. 

Show hours will be 9 AM until 6 PM Friday and 9 AM until 4 PM on Saturday and the public is encouraged to attend. There will be a parade/convoy of these historic vehicles through downtown Portland on Saturday morning Sept. 18th beginning at 10 AM. There will be several WWII tanks operating at the event.

A special feature for this year will be a Vietnam era Huey helicopter that will be flying at the show with the opportunity to take a ride.

Exhibitors and venders will be attending from throughout the Midwest with something for everyone. A large vender area of uniforms, equipment and parts will be available for the collector.

Military re-enactors and anyone with a military vehicle is encouraged to participate.

Camp sites and hook-ups are available. 

The Portland Optimist club and the 4-H will be providing good eats including breakfast daily.

Covid 19 protocols will be expected.
